A SIMPLE 3-STEP STRATEGY
TO REACH YOUR GOALS
Setting goals is an important part of your Paparazzi Accessories business. Whether you’re a new Consultant who just received your Starter Kit (congratulations and welcome to the party!) or you’re one of our seasoned Consultants who have reached the Elite ranks in the Compensation Plan, knowing where you want your business to go and how to get there is essential to your success.
Setting goals is the first step to getting there, but to truly create a thriving business, you need a plan to reach those goals and a way to measure your progress along the way. That’s where taking AIM comes in. We know you have big dreams for your business and taking AIM can help you make them a reality!
What does taking AIM mean?
AIM stands for Assess, Implement, and Measure. It’s a three-part strategy for creating actionable goals that get results. Are you ready to dazzle the masses with your business prowess? Keep reading to find out how you can take AIM at your goals and achieve success.
A Is for Assess
Do you have a new rank advancement in sight? Are you working to become a member of the Crown Club or unlock a new Life of the Party access level? The first step in taking AIM is to assess your current situation. Then you’ll define the steps that will get you to your next rank, into the Crown Club, become the Life of the Party, or whatever your goal happens to be.
Taking time to assess where you are helps you gain clarity. It’s an opportunity to take a bird’s eye view of your current status and find the most direct route to your destination. For instance, if your goal is team-building, you’ll take a different course than you would if your goal is sales-related.
Once you find the right path for your goal, you can plan out a course of action to take you there. To get started, ask yourself questions like:
- What do I want to achieve with my Paparazzi business?
- What challenges am I facing right now?
- What is my next best step?
Once you have a clear understanding of your business goals, it’s time to make them SMART — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This will ensure your goals are actionable and that they align with your ‘why.’ Click here to discover how to make SMART goals.
I Is for Implement
Now that you’ve assessed your business goals and made them SMART, it’s time for the second step in taking AIM: implementing a plan to achieve your goals.
You’ll need a clear roadmap planned out if you want to reach your destination. Without a plan, you may feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to start. Implementing a plan increases your chances of success while giving you a sense of control and confidence in your ability to reach your goals.
To help make your plan achievable and realistic, try applying the following tips:
Tip 1: Break down your larger goals into smaller, actionable steps, then set deadlines for each task. This will help you stay on track and keep you motivated, as you celebrate the milestones along the way.
Tip 2: Make yourself accountable to someone. Share your goals with your Sponsor, a teammate, or a family member and check in with them regularly, letting them know of your progress.
M Is for Measure
As you work towards your goal, it's important to measure your progress and make adjustments as needed. For example, during your weekly check-in, you might find that you’re crushing your sales goal for the month. Why not bump up that number and reach even higher?
The sales reports and progress trackers in your Back Office are excellent ways to help you track your progress as you rise through the Paparazzi ranks and more.
Take AIM
Taking AIM at your goals is a surefire way to achieve success with your Paparazzi Accessories business. By assessing where you are, implementing a plan to reach your goals, and measuring your progress along the way, you’ll be able to become the Life of the Party, join the Crown Club, or hit that rank you’ve got your eyes on. You’ll be painting your town pink in no time at all!
Are you ready to take AIM? Set aside some time today to write down your goals and create a plan to achieve them using the AIM framework.
